Irish PM Attends Affidea Rebranding Event

The rebranding events in Ireland this month caused somewhat of a sensation, with Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Enda Kenny joining Affidea’s leadership in the celebrations. Mr Kenny was given a detailed tour of the newly rebranded Dundrum Centre, examining its state-of-the-art facilities and meeting with staff members, who were delighted to demonstrate Affidea’s services and show him all that we can do for patients who visit our centres.

A press conference followed the tour, with over a dozen major Irish media outlets present, including Irish National TV, creating comprehensive media coverage on a national scale. Speakers included Affidea Chairman Richard Smith, CEO Dimitris Moulavasilis, Ireland CM Tom Finn and the Taoiseach himself.

Amongst other things, an exciting expansion project throughout Ireland was announced, creating 100 new jobs – both clinical and administrative – through a €15M investment, with 3 or 4 new centres already in the pipeline. This “marks the beginning of a primary healthcare evolution for Ireland,” said Tom Finn, CM Affidea Ireland.

I am delighted to welcome the announcement of 100 new jobs at Affidea Ireland. Affidea's investment and expansion are a vote of confidence in Ireland's economy (…). The Government will continue to work to secure the recovery so that companies like Affidea can grow and create more jobs.
