Affidea Ireland Sponsors Kilkenny Hurling Club

2016.03.16

Affidea Ireland proudly announced its continued sponsorship of the, Danesfort GAA hurling club in Kilkenny by presenting the team with all-new sports kits this month. “Hurling is one of the most popular sports in Ireland, thus the kits will draw a lot of publicity, as the local community really gets behind their team and comes out to see them play,” commented Affidea Ireland CEO Tom Finn. “Affidea features prominently on the new team kits and we think this ties in very nicely with our commitment both to serve local communities and to promote a healthy lifestyle to all patients and potential patients.”

The new jerseys were presented as part of a five year sponsorship agreement, which was announced last year. The agreement continues the long-lasting relationship that the club has with Affidea Ireland, dating back to 2012.

John Leahy, Danesfort GAA Club Manager, said they were very pleased to have Affidea on board as a sponsor.

“We are very proud of our club in Danesfort, which is not only home to a team of highly competitive young GAA players, but also a strong local community,” he commented.

“Affidea during these years has demonstrated a very strong understanding of what is important to us. We look forward to more successful cooperation in the future.”

“The Affidea brand had an excellent launch in Ireland, with the Prime Minister at the time attending the event and drawing a huge amount of publicity. That now needs to be nurtured and reinforced going forward to make Affidea a household name in Ireland and beyond,” added Marketing Manager Affidea Ireland, Olivia Dowling.
