A Heartfelt Rebranding in Greece

On 25th June, Greece became the 13th country of operations to rebrand and join the Affidea family. In true Greek style, the summer event was held on a beautiful beach just outside Athens, with blue cocktails, fire-eaters and dance shows to usher in the new era of Affidea Greece.

Affidea Greece CEO Theodoros Karoutzos was greeted with cheers by centre teams as he launched the event with a heartfelt speech hailing the “enthusiasm of every one of our people working in centres and HQ, who use extreme professionalism to care for patients who have entrusted their health needs to us.” This quintessentially Greek word summed up the mood of the evening as staff, all dressed in blue branded T shirts, greeted the new name and bold logo, which were “made in Greece”.

Brand Strategist Peter Economides has been working with the company for over two years to launch and develop the new brand as Affidea sets its sights on going global.

“It was a wonderful night,” commented Marketing Manager Olympia Kouroupi “and the brand, its message, really does bring change, makes us more modern and opens up the future for Greek operations after ten strong years as Evrioatriki.”

Greek teams were joined by members of the Exec Comm and their families, including Dimitris Moulavasilis, Giuseppe Giannasio, Celso Guedes, Carol Ducrest and Justyna Tyborowska.
