Affidea Shines on the Eurosafe Wall of Stars: A Testament to Excellence in Radiology

Affidea has earned significant recognition on the Eurosafe Wall of Stars, a direct result of the company's innovative Dose Excellence Programme, which has set new standards in radiology.

The Dose Excellence Programme at Affidea stands out for several reasons. Firstly, an impressive 80% of Affidea's equipment fleet is integrated with the Digital Dose Excellence system, while 94% of total examinations across the group adhere to a standard protocol, ensuring uniformity and quality in diagnostics. This integration underscores the organisation’s dedication to adopting advanced technologies for superior patient care.

Furthermore, in 2023 Affidea has made significant strides in radiation safety. More than 87% of examinations are performed with a dose below the organisational reference levels for patients with a normal Body Mass Index (BMI), highlighting the company's commitment to minimising patient exposure to radiation.

In a notable achievement, 103 Affidea centers have been awarded five stars and are featured on the Wall of Stars. This recognition showcases not only Affidea's excellence in radiology but also its leadership in the field, with more than 90% of the centres recognised by the European Society of Radiology on the Eurosafe Wall of Stars being Affidea centres.

Adding to these recognitions, we have proudly presented our Dose Excellence Programme at RSNA, the largest world radiology congress.
