Affidea CEO’s message on International Women’s Day: “Affidea is a company shaped and run by the strengths, qualities, and visionary management of women”

On this International Women's Day, I wish to express our collective appreciation to all the talented and committed women within the Affidea community.

As we celebrate this day, it's important to recognise and honour the role of women in society and, more specifically, within our healthcare organisation.  Your dedication, talent and ambition are the driving forces behind our success and the compassionate care we deliver to our patients and their communities. 

Within our organisation, women constitute over two thirds of our workforce, which evidences our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. Whilst still not adequately balanced, over one-third of our management roles within our countries and at the corporate level are now held by women. Affidea is a company shaped and run by the strengths, qualities, and visionary management of women.

At the very heart of Affidea are our operations in the medical centers, where the dedication and expertise of women are most visibly transformative. Our doctors, nurses, centre managers, and every member of the operational teams embody the spirit and commitment that Affidea stands for. That is why I would like to say thank you to the women in our organisation, in every country and in every role, for your passion, empathy, and commitment, which are vital in maintaining the essence of what we represent, making a profound impact on the quality of care we provide to patients every day.

In a world that still grapples with issues of gender equality and women's rights, your achievements within Affidea are absolutely recognised and valued.

Affidea is not just a healthcare provider; it is a community where women’s empowerment is integral to our identity and success.
