Affidea acquires Ve.Di. Group in Italy

On 4th  February 2015,  Affidea successfully completed the acquisition of Ve.Di Gruppo Sanitario, one of the largest private healthcare providers in Northern Italy, specialising in diagnostic imaging, laboratory and outpatient medical services.
Ve.Di. Group is present in Cornaredo (MI), Gessate (MI) and Piantedo (SO) in Lombardy, Turin and SettimoTorinese (TO) in Piedmont, and Padua in Veneto. The company operates with public health accreditation and in 2014 carried out more than 2.5 million exams for over 600,000 patients, thanks to the hard work of its 100+ employees and 250 associates.


With the acquisition of the Ve.Di. Group of 6 advanced medical centres, Affidea has strengthened its position in Lombardy, Veneto and Piedmont, and its commitment to building a network with a robust business model, a specialised care delivery system and a constant focus on innovation. Ve.Di. has a strong professional reputation locally and is known for using state-of-the-art technology, with the best medical professionals and staff, as well as adhering to strict ethical standards. By a measured process of consolidation, the Group has grown solidly since its incorporation in 2007.
