Houston Methodist and Euromedic triumph of a three year affiliation

2014.10.20

The Fourth EMI-HM Workshop was held in Wroclaw, Poland, from 13-15th October. Prof. Brian Butler from The Methodist Hospital (TMH) in Houston together with his team of radiotherapy experts, yet again worked with Euromedic specialists from Poland and Bosnia on developing cancer treatment standards – this time, focusing on lung and prostate cancers.

Both teams are committed to improving treatment quality and safety, creating excellent patient experiences and achieving the ultimate goal of the affiliation with Houston Methodist, which is to standardise cancer treatment across all Euromedic centres, ensuring the best possible outcome for patients and becoming the provider of choice in Europe.

With the event’s conclusion, EMI and HM are nearing the affiliation’s three year anniversary, representing an important milestone: the creation of Euromedic experts through ongoing training and knowledge transfer from HM consultants. The strong determination to continue to competitively position Euromedic Centres as leading medicine in the European market was also stated by the Euromedic CTC Medical Advisory Board at their 5th session in Wroclaw.
