Affidea Serbia was registered in January 2016 alongside reconstruction of the premises of the future diagnostic centre to meet all local and state-level administrative and medical regulatory requirements. 

The Affidea Diagnostic Centre in Belgrade began to welcome patients in December 2016. The opening ceremony for the centre was held in February 2017 together with representatives from the Serbian Ministry of Health, the National Patient Association of Serbia, Affidea Management and local media from the region. 

Serbia is now Affidea’s 15th country of operation in Europe and the state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging centre in Belgrade is Affidea’s 171st across our network.

Belgrade is the first diagnostic imaging centre in Serbia to host a fleet of brand-new medical imaging modalities from renowned US manufacturer General Electric which presents a wide array of services for our patients, including: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computerised tomography (CT), mammograph with tomosynthesis, X-ray and ultrasound diagnostics.

Patients have the opportunity to receive the most modern and high/standard imaging services throughout Serbia at the Affidea Diagnostics Centre in Belgrade. Our local medical personnel are internationally and locally trained and receive continual education to complement the ever-changing world of healthcare. Alongside diagnostic imaging services, Affidea Belgrade offers specialised medical examinations, such as cardiac and neurology examinations from our highly experienced and highly qualified staff of consultants.

Affidea Belgrade is a leader in providing modern diagnostics healthcare services in Serbia. Affidea plans to expand further in Serbia and in the region, signaling new investment and new employment of medical experts from various fields.
